COPPELL — After three lightning delays totaling roughly 2:33, Euless Trinity and Coppell got game of football in.

That was enough for Trinity to clinch the District 7-6A championship with a 49-14 win. Trinity (9-0, 5-0 in District 7-6A) still has one game to play, but it already has the head-to-head tie breaker over the only teams with one district loss, Southlake Carroll and Colleyville Heritage.
